Felon to Lie to American Public Thursday in Primetime

By Michael Woyton

I’m not going to watch the speech from the Oval Office tomorrow night and I recommend you don’t either.

By not watching in large enough numbers, we can show president donald j. felon* that he doesn’t have anything to say to us any more.

After all, dollars to donuts, when he opens his mouth he is lying. So why shouldn’t we assume whatever he’s going to talk about Thursday evening will not be the truth.

The mango Mussolini has been cagey, as is typical, about the speech’s topic or topics. Maybe he just can’t remember what it’s going to concern.

It’s being reported that the primetime address will “include a focus on elections, suggesting he could revisit long-debunked conspiracy theories about his 2020 defeat to Democrat Joe Biden,” the Associated Press said.

It should help to remember that there were more than 60 court cases where judges examined evidence related to the election fraud claims from the 2020 general election and found there was no widespread fraud.

I'll go with logic.. #politics #logic

It should also help to remember that the adjudicated rapist, who was just forced by a court to pay writer E. Jean Carroll more than $5.6 million in damages for sexual abuse and defamation, has been preoccupied with voting fraud and election security at least since 2016 when he lost the popular vote but won the Electoral College over Hillary Clinton.

Being the sore winner he is, he “convened a voting integrity commission to support his claims that widespread voter fraud cost him the popular vote,” the AP said, “though the commission disbanded without uncovering any such evidence.”

One would think the grifter-in-chief need only look in a mirror to find voter fraud in the 2020 election. He did, after all, call Georgia’s secretary of state and ask him to find 11,780 votes, which would have been enough to overturn Biden’s victory.

Sen. Lindsey Graham was even enlisted to pressure Georgia election officials to get creative in finding ways to toss out legal mail-in ballots.

The bottom line is the elderly golfer continues to relentlessly cast doubt on the validity of elections in the United States, but only when the elections don’t produce a victory for him.

He wants to require proof of citizenship in order to register to vote through the SAVE Act. He shut down the bipartisan federal Election Assistance Commission, and thinks his office should dictate how local elections are run.

And he cannot take a hint through his very own Department of Justice losing 15 lawsuits — and counting — seeking access to full voter records in such states as Virginia, New Mexico, Michigan and West Virginia. Just why does the DOJ need a state’s complete voter records?

He’s either scared that he is losing control or that he will never have the control that he really wants.

The American people have seen the man behind the curtain and their disgust is palpable.

Was about to write this but @julieroginsky.bsky.social did it first: "Any television network with an ounce of integrity should refuse to carry Trump’s address live." They should delay, then fact-check the hell out of it, providing context, i.e. journalism saltypolitics.substack.com/p/the-medias…

* I’m following what the wannabe king declared on social media that he will only refer to the Supreme Court in lowercase because he has a complete lack of respect for them after the illegal tariffs ruling.
