CNN Calls Felon’s Approval Numbers “5-Alarm Trumpster Fire”

By Michael Woyton

Not only are president donald j. felon’s* approval numbers continuing to drop, but his popularity by members of his own party who are running in the upcoming midterms is dropping.

A new NBC News Decision Desk Poll released this week shows that 71 percent of adults in the United States think the country is on the “wrong track” and the grifter-in-chief’s approval rating has dropped to 34 percent, a second-term low in the poll, NBC News reported.

NBC’s Sahil Kapur writes that people responding to the poll “expressed deep unhappiness over economic conditions and widespread distrust toward both major political parties, but Trump and Republicans bore the brunt.”

Kapur went on to say that a majority of Americans think this president’s administration is “uniquely corrupt,” even while being skeiptical at corruption in both parties.

“And they say Trump is failing to improve their material financial conditions,” Kapur wrote.

When asking about the issues, the poll found the president’s approval rating is 27 percent on his handling of the cost of living; 29 percent on the war with Iran and only 33 percent on handling of artificial intelligence.

On border security and immigration, 43 percent of adults approve — making it his best issue.

There’s more in the poll of 19,135 adults conducted between September 28 and October 12 here. Its margin of error is ±2.6 percentage points.

Enten: "Trump's net approval rating — its all time low! -35 points, the worst he has ever been in the Reuters/Ipsos poll. Among independents he's 54 points underwater. NBC — worst ever. ABC — worst ever. Ipsos — worst ever. Pew — worst ever."

CNN’s polling expert Harry Enten called the president’s approval numbers “a five-alarm trumpster fire.”

Enten’s graphics showed the dementia-patient-in-chief down from +6 in January 2025 to -35 now.

Plus, across four major polling news organizations — NBC, ABC, Ipsos and Pew — the elderly golfer has his all-time worst presidential net approval ratings, ranging from -32 to -38.

Enten even compared the trumpster-fire-in-chief to former presidents Harry S Truman and George W. Bush who had similar approval ratings and both of them lost the House of Representatives and the Senate during midterm elections.

As the adjudicated rapist and convicted felon continues barnstorming the country spewing lies and the same tired old stories at rally after rally — surprisingly in deep red states no Republican president should ever have to visit before an election — GOP candidates running in the midterms have “almost entirely removed President Donald Trump from their campaign ads,” Newsweek reported.

The destroyer of the White House has been urging his party and supporters to “pretend” he’s on the ballot next month, hopefully drawing on his popularity.

“But the advertising analytics firm AdImpact has revealed that campaigns are making nearly no mention of the president in the final stretch of the contest,” Newsweek said.

According to AdImpact, the president is being mentioned in only 1 percent of Republican ads so far in October, compared to May’s 47 percent.

Democrats have upped the mentions of the president. He’s appeared in 21 percent of Dem’s ads this month.

Even Ken Paxton, the Texas AG and Senate candidate who rivals the insurrectionist-in-chief in corruptability, is wary of being seen too close to the president.

Leaked audio in September, according to the New York Times, showed Paxton “expressing concerns about the president’s impact on his campaign. He later said “just because they were able to clip a few things doesn’t mean that that’s actually what I meant.”

Sure, Jan.

Mike Madrid, a GOP political strategist and co-founder of the Lincoln Project, told Newsweek that candidates can’t get far enough from the president.

“From immigration issues in South Florida to America First slogans disappearing on yard signs in Northern California,” he said, “congressional candidates can’t drop the Trump anchor fast enough.”

What does all this mean?

Nothing, until the votes are counted Nov. 3.

These numbers do not mean people don’t have to show up at their polling places or mail in or drop off their completed ballots at the earliest possible opportunity.

While the polling numbers are encouraging, it doesn’t mean a damn thing if all of us don’t do our part.

The traitor-in-chief.

Trump is a traitor to this country. And he should be treated as such.👇
