Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera, Common, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend and Stevie Wonder.

No, that isn’t the lineup for president donald j. felon’s* July 4 bund meeting 250th Anniversary rally.

You know how we know that isn’t a lineup for anything related to the adjudicated rapist and convicted felon?

Because you’ve probably heard of Springsteen and the others.

The aforementioned artists, along with Eddie Vedder, Marc Anthony Marsai Martin, The Roots, Tems, U2’s Bono and The Edge, were announced as performers who will be appearing on stage at the Obama Presidential Center’s Grand Opening Ceremony Thursday in Chicago.

“The ceremony will bring together global leaders, artists, changemakers, and citizens for an inspiring celebration of the values that shaped the Obama presidency and continue to power civic engagement across generations,” according to a news release.

Valerie Jarrett, CEO of The Obama Foundation, said the opening ceremony will be filled with music, performances and hope.

“The Grand Opening Ceremony will reflect a spirit of inspiration and joy, with a big boost from the performers who are sharing their talent with us,” she said. “We hope to inspire people everywhere to believe in their power to bring change home.”

Can’t make it to Chicago? The ceremony will be livestreamed beginning at 11 a.m. Central Time on obama.org and on The Obama Foundation’s TikTok, YouTube and Facebook accounts.

The Obama Presidential Center opens to the public on June 19 — Juneteenth. Unfortunately, museum tickets are sold out for opening weekend, but the rest of the campus is free and accessible for the general public.

Here’s an idea. Let’s all view the opening and drive numbers so high that the elderly golfer will have to tweet on his little social media site that nobody watched it.

BTW, the presidential library of the orange makeup man will be a “gilded glass tower” and could include a hotel and retail sales outlets.

One feature of Obama’s presidential library will honor civil rights and social justice leaders.

Just sayin’.
