Felon Called ‘More Vulgar’ by Gray Lady … Finally

By Michael Woyton

Imagine how surprising it was to see the lead story in the Sunday New York Times print edition.

Print edition, you know, what people used to read before it was all enterwebs.

The two-byline, two-column story was titled “Trump’s Speech Becomes More Vulgar and Muddled,” which was followed by a subhead that said “His Appearances Onstage at 80 Are Raising Questions About Age and Stability.”

That was monumental for the Gray Lady, the paper of record or whatever you want to call it.

Having just read the entire piece, I hasten to say that the fact that the story is the lead article is much more impressive than what the reporters came up with.

It is, after all, the New York Times.

One could assume that the way the article starts was so obvious that it had to be mentioned.

Reporters Peter Baker and Dylan Freedman wrote, at the beginning of a speech a campaign rally in North Carolina, “President Trump told the story of the Willie Horton crime case that helped sink the presidential campaign of the Democrat Michael S. Dukakis in 1988.”

The problem perked up the ears of the two Times reporters was that the  grifter-in-chief told the same story to the same crowd at the same rally 30 minutes later, “using some of the same language (and getting the facts wrong both times).”

Anyone with ears and half a brain can tell that something ain’t right with the 80-year-old convicted felon and adjudicated rapist.

Now the Times thinks so, too.

And by admitting his appearances on stage “are raising questions” is the Times’ way of saying-but-not-saying there’s something wrong with the man in the orange makeup.

Alas, the Times editors decided to underplay their conclusion on the website by toning down the headline to “Threats, Gaffes and Men’s Posteriors: Trump’s Talk Gets Wilder.”

Come on, other mainstream media, show the Times how it’s done and call the dementia patient with the nuclear launch codes a dementia patient.

Talk about a sore loser. Michigan Sen. Haley Stevens betrayed her constituents by endorsing magat Mike Rogers for senator over Dr. Abdul El-Sayed.

Tomorrow is the midterms general election. Make sure you vote if you haven’t already done so.
