Someone in charge of setting policy for the health of Americans does not engender confidence by repeatedly using air quotes every time he says the word “experts.”
That was part of the performance Health and Human Services Sec. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. gave Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union.
Dana Bash’s interview is remarkable, not only because we so seldom see real push back from the mainstream media, but because Bobbie Jr. actually sounds more unhinged than usual.

Kudos for the “you’re not a scientist — well you’re not either” exchange.
Sadly, the king of roadside cuisine believes only he is an expert when nothing in his resumé or his life experience qualifies him to even have an opinion on matters concerning healthcare.
He made several claims, according to Forbes, that conflict with scientific evidence and research.
For example, RFK Jr. said the United States has the highest death rate from Covid, when we don’t even make it into the top 10.
He said there are no studies that show children were protected by the Covid vaccine. Even the CDC’s own Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report said the vax reduced the risk of emergency care visits for kids 9 months to 4 years by 76 percent.
And then there’s his seemingly constant lies about vaccines causing autism, saying that there have been no studies done on the topic. As recently as 2025, there was a Danish study of more than 1 million children that found “no link between vaccines and autism.”
The secretary of health doesn’t believe science when it doesn’t validated his dangerous, dangerous views.
The lack of expertise of the brain-worm, coke-snorting Kennedy is a prime example of the problem with the administration of pres. donald j. felon*.
The convicted felon and adjudicated rapist has surrounded himself with so-called experts — imagine me doing air quotes in this instance — that wouldn’t ever make it past the initial Indeed job-hunting process, much less make it to the corner suite in any normal business.
A TV talk-show host running the military, a blogger and conspiracy theorist heading the FBI, a golf buddy and real estate developer negotiating with Russia. One could go on and on.
Which leads us to the man who will likely be the next attorney general and in charge of the Department of Retribution Justice, someone about whom even disgraced Nixon AG John Mitchell would say, “You’ve gotta be f—ing kidding me!”
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, the elderly golfer’s Roy Cohn personal lawyer — he led the defense team that landed the mayor of Mar-a-Lago with 34 felon convictions — was approved narrowly by the Senate Judiciary Committee Tuesday and is headed to the Senate for a confirmation vote.
To get the necessary committee votes from two senators who were not inclined to vote for him, Blanche had to commit in writing that he would kill the Jan. 6 rioters slush fund and revise a deal that gives the fraudster-in-chief and his family the ability to crime tax-wise in the past and future.
Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, who was one of the two senators holding out on the aforementioned commitment, said that he realized the written assurances could be reversed in the future. So there’s that.
It does, however, beg the question that if there were concerns about the propriety of the slush fund and the tax immunity —creations from Blanche’s mind — how does having to ask him to rescind them make him qualified to be the chief law enforcement officer of the country?
Who does Cornyn think he is, voting for someone who could later pull the rug out from under him? See also Sen. Susan Collins, who fell for Brett Kavanaugh’s assurances about respecting Roe v. Wade as precedent.
Speaking of abortion rights, Blanche told anti-abortion activists and he will work to roll back access to abortion in every state.
Additionally, he is determined to stop telehealth prescription and mail delivery abortion pills.
Nice, huh?
Any Democrat who votes for this slimebag should be tossed out of office.
