More often than not, a period of time passes after a president leaves office and the tea gets spilled.
Bad manners, things that pissed off someone, out-of-character reactions good or bad eventually turn up in books or extended magazine or newspaper articles.
So it’s refreshing to see a meltdown as it happens, or in the case of President donald j. felon* two days later.

The adjudicated rapist was in Wisconsin Friday for an event focused on farmers — haven’t they suffered enough? Oh, wait, most farmers voted for him — and taped an interview prior to the event for Meet the Press with Kristen Welker that aired Sunday.
According to reporters at NBC News who fact-checked the elderly golfer’s “series of false, misleading or exaggerated comments,” he brought us many of his familiar claims.
He was asked about the increasing gas prices and claimed they would go down 1) if an agreement with Iran is signed or 2) “after we’re finished.”
NBC News said that oil executives have no such hopes, adding that restoration of oil production will take four to six weeks for the supply chain to normalize, even if the Strait of Hormuz reopens.
The man who encouraged the Jan. 6 rioters once again claimed the FBI brought people into the Capitol Building, in spite of the fact that, as Welker countered, there was no evidence the FBI ushered anyone into the building.
However, the topic that really got under the orange-tinted skin of the manbaby was election rigging — both in the 2020 presidential and the ongoing California primary elections.
“When pressed for evidence on California’s vote by Welker, he said: “All I have to do is look, and I listen,” BBC reported.
Welker replied that “that’s not evidence,” and he accused the media of being “crooked,” lashing out at Welker with insults — his MO for dealing with women reporters.

To her credit, Welker didn’t let him get away with calling her “crooked” or “stupid.”
He was unhinged all the way up to the time he said, “Thank you, darling. Have a good time” and left.
Here’s hoping that the convicted felon has a “good time” at the NBA finals at Madison Square Garden Monday night.
The assembled basketball fans, who are paying tons of money for tickets and are required to get to the arena two hours in advance because of heightened security, need to give him the appropriate greeting for someone as despicable as he always has been and continues to be.
