The hard truth is, we have a domestic terrorist living in the White House.
president donald j. felon* has proven over the past couple of days that he doesn’t care about the people of the United States.
He also doesn’t care about the people of the world, other than his buddies/fellow authoritarians.

That makes him an international terrorist as well.
On Easter Sunday, he threatened to obliterate the country of Iran and then doubled down with another post giving a deadline for what could well be construed as a nuclear threat for 8 p.m. Tuesday.
I was born post-duck and cover and pre-Cuban Missile Crisis and grew up knowing that the Cold War was real and arms control treaties were something to be celebrated.
Judging from news reports and social media, I don’t think I was alone in wondering — from the moment I awoke Tuesday until the “deal” was announced shortly around 6 p.m. — if the unthinkable would happen and, once again, the U.S. would maintain its title as the only country on the face of the earth to use nuclear weapons against another country.
The elderly golfer, who is displaying signs of dementia, has always been unpredictable.
During his first term, the president spoke openly in meetings about increasing the number of nuclear weapons in our arsenal, while advisers including State Secretary Rex Tillerson were looking at doing the opposite.
It was even reported on MSNBC that the president asked a foreign policy expert why we even had nuclear weapons if we didn’t use them.
He’s not a smart man. He doesn’t show intellectual curiosity.
He’s never cared about anyone but himself, even since his years in New York City as a real estate fraud tycoon.
And now as his mind continues its decline, he’s saddled with literally the potential to cause extreme suffering whenever the whim strikes.
Knowing how frail his mind is and how he’s never cared about anyone else, it’s no wonder people thought that he would pull the trigger on an entire country and possibly unleash a third world war.
Couple that with Pete Kegseth, the secretary of war crimes, saying we were undertaking a “holy war,” and we’ve got the road company of “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb” playing on CNN.
Precious bodily fluids, anyone?
Yeah, there was gallows humor going around on Tuesday.
Someone posted that maybe they’ll wait a few days to file their taxes. One person even said that she was not going to be cooking with olive oil, but was breaking out the real butter to make dinner.
Jokes aside, I don’t know what this says about the future with a person in charge who has no restraints now and will have fewer and fewer as the days go by.
There’s is, unfortunately, no reason to hope Congress will step up to the plate.
Out of 214 Democrats in the House of Representatives, as of Tuesday only 70 have said the president should be removed by the Cabinet using the 25th Amendment or Congress should impeach and convict him or both.
Only 70. Democrats. Only 70. Fer chrissakes.
How many times will we find ourselves on the brink of armageddon under this mad man? How many times will we be terrorized by this convicted felon?
Once was more than enough.
