As Rick Wilson is fond of saying, “Everything Trump touches dies.”
Case it point: Look what the convicted felon i doing to his loyal magas, the people who saw him make fun of a disabled reporter and said nothing, the people who heard him denigrate the military service of John McCain and said nothing.
Now — with Jeffrey Epstein refusing to go away — the president is feeling his blue-suited back against the wall more than ever before.
Before he would say “Russia, Russia, Russia,” calling it a hoax and his loyals would absolutely believe there was nothing to worry about.

“Epstein, Epstein, Epstein” apparently doesn’t have the same ring to it, unless you’re streaming “Welcome Back, Kotter.”
The mayor of MaraTACO promised to release the FBI files on Epstein before he came back into office, but now he’s saying there’s nothing to see here, go about your business.
“[A]ccording to the president and his top law enforcement officials, the documents may not be forthcoming — and some may not exist at all,” BBC reported.
That concession didn’t sit well with many or the magas, “with even staunch supporters calling for the removal of Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI director Kash Patel and his deputy, Ban Bongino.”
Even former vice president Mike “Hang ‘Em High” Pence has urged that the Epstein files be released.
All the latest hubbub over “where are the documents/release the documents” has seriously spooked the golfer-in-chief.
On Wednesday, the president took to social media accusing some of his supporters of “being ‘weaklings’ who are falling prey to Democratic ‘bullshit’ about the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein — concluding that he no longer wants their support,” according to CNN.
Trump said the Dems created the Epstein scam, which is in his mind definitely a hoax.
“They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years,” he wrote on social media.
Some of these notable “Democrats” are Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson, right-wing influencer Benny Johnson and, as said before, Pence.
Even Rep. Marjorie “Jewish Space Laser” Taylor Greene and Rep. Thomas “Who Did Your Hair” Massie are working on getting a vote that would require the Department of Justice to release all Epstein-related documents.
How scared is the adjudicated rapist about Epstein?
Out of the blue — not really, if you think about it — the DOJ fired Manhattan federal prosecutor Maurene Comey.
She’s a two-fer firing for Trump.
Not only is she the daughter of former FBI director James “But Her Emails” Comey but she worked on the sex trafficking prosecution of Epstein, the Associated Press reported.
No explanation for her firing was given. No surprise there.
Of course, all of this is Trump’s doing.
I’m sure in his narcissistic mind he’s done nothing wrong, but as PBS News said his strategy of downplaying the issue and “nothing-to-see-here approach” doesn’t work “for those who have learned from him that they must not give up until the government’s deepest, darkest secrets are exposed.”
Let’s see how it goes for the whiner-in-chief to say the people who look up to him — no matter what — are weaklings and unable to tell fact from fiction. In a word “stupid.”
Hopefully his approval ratings will soon tell us the outcome.
